Card Acceptor Launch Event - 12 November 2008

The official launch event for the Harrogate Advantage card acceptors took place at Crepes and Crocs at the West Park Hotel in Harrogate on 12 November 2008. The Mayor and Mayoress of the Borough of Harrogate, Councillor John Fox and Mrs Maggie Fox visited the event to meet local businesses who are involved in the scheme.

Launch Celebration Cake - Expertly made and decorated by Celebration Cakes.

	The Mayor John Fox was presented with the first Harrogate Advantage 24K Gold Gilded Card to commemorate the launch of Harrogate Advantage. During the evening a collection was also made in support of the Mayors local charities Carer's Resource and Hospital Friends.

After a long day of Mayorial duties, what better way to relax than by visiting one of the Card Acceptor stands provided by 'Kanchana Thai Wat Po Massage & Reflexology'. Kanchana was just one of the Card Acceptors supporting the evening.
